January  22, 2002- New Instructor

I was out and about last weekend when Bruce gave me a call.  He had been called up by Southwest and would be training for several weeks.  We chatted over schedule and he ended up placing me with Michael.  Mike is a young pup less than a year out of Embry-Riddle, the kind of kid that occasionally makes me look in the mirror and see my father.  But he's a very nice guy and very easy going.  Not to say anything negative about Bruce.  He was very nice too but I think Mike and I clicked a little better and will get along style wise better.  (Comments on choosing an instructor moved to here).

Anyway - we went up and just repeated some basic maneuver training with a little more depth than last time with Bruce.  That flight ended up being a little more of an "Intro" flight than real training.
