April 7, 2002 - More Practice

Back to just staying local.  I was at the end of my "unemployed" flying budget.  I had been out of town for job interviews and thought I had an offer coming in but until one did these were my last lessons until I was unemployed and non-broke again.

We kept it close to keep the time (and my costs) down.  I remember we went and practiced "at the old jump zone".  This is an area northeast of LVK that is still in the class D.  This was an interesting squeeze between a safe altitude above ground and below traffic for LVK.  Other than that not much from this lessons stands out.

But the breakthrough from the 5th continued, it felt good to be feeling better about my flying and coming closer to moving on.
